The Pocket Guides are here!
posted 23 January 2013 by Jo BrewerWe’re a day later than planned, but our brand new Pocket Guide ebook series is here.
Pocket Guides are concise ebooks, focusing on specific and timely aspects of web design and development, each written by experts in the industry – and all for the price of your favourite coffee.
Today you can buy the first two titles in the series: CSS3 Layout Modules by Rachel Andrew and Creating Symbol Fonts by Brian Suda.
We’re also offering the option to buy Pocket Guides by collection. Every four titles we release will make up a collection. Brian and Rachel's books will be joined by two others in February to make up collection one: The Craft of Words - Part One: Macrocopy by The Standardistas, and Psychology for Designers by Joe Leech.
If you choose to buy collection one today you’ll receive Brian and Rachel’s books immediately, and the next two will be available for you to download when they’re published next month.
To mark the launch of the Pocket Guide series we’re giving away a little goodie bag containing one of our custom made Pocket Guide notepads, a pencil to write in it, and one of our Five Simple Steps bookmarks to the first 50 people that buy one of our Pocket Guide titles today. If you’re one of the 50 we’ll email you in the next few days to confirm your address with you so we can send out your package.
What are you waiting for?
Update: We've got our first 50 orders! We'll be emailing the winners of the goodie bags to confirm postal addresses.
