It feels like only yesterday to us, but it’s been a whole month since we battled against a snow-battered Wales to get into the studio and launch our brand new Pocket Guide ebook series.

A month on and we’re pleased to be adding another two great titles to the series: Psychology for Designers by Joe Leech, and The Craft of Words - Part One: Macrocopy by The Standardistas.

In The Craft of Words, the @standardistas will examine words in design and how writing shapes users’ experiences.

In Psychology for Designers @mrjoe will show how understanding psychological research can enhance your design work.

Our two new titles join Rachel Andrew’s CSS3 Layout Modules and Brian Suda’s Creating Symbol Fonts to make up our first ever Pocket Guide collection. Altogether, we think they’re a great combination, offering a balanced mix of code, design, UX and content knowledge.

You can pick up all of our Pocket Guide ebooks from our store for £2 each, or you can grab collection one for just £6.

If you bought collection one previously then you’ll have received an email today to let you know the new files are ready for download; all you need to do is click on the link. If for any reason you haven’t had an email, or are having any difficulty getting to your files (we hope not!) then get in touch with us over on our support page.

We’ll publish details of the next two Pocket Guides to be published (hint - it’ll be two of the ones we have listed for collection two) very soon. Happy reading!
